THE END OF THE WORLD, IS JUST THE BEGINNING… Welcome to The Aftermath. This show is dedicated to the post-apocalyptic genre including movies, TV programs, books, animations, comics, and video games. So, if you are fascinated with shows such as Jericho and films like The Road, books such as The Stand or Alas Babylon, then you have come to the right place. The Aftermath Show was Wilcoy’s solo effort after Quiet Earth ended, and covered similar topics.

Sep 29, 2008 I’m Back! After a year since the last segment I’m bringing back the only Post-Apocalyptic radio show dedicated to the genre. The show is now called The Aftermath and we will begin this first segment with news and talk about the upcoming film “The Road”. So tune in and put your radiation suits on and grab your geiger counter!

May 04, 2009 In the seventies Gene Roddenberry unsuccessfully tried to capture TV success after Star Trek with a new made for TV post-apocalyptic series. Roddenberry delved into post-apocalyptic science fiction with three made for TV movies Genesis II, Planet Earth, and Strange New World. Unfortunately they weren’t made into a TV series but they give us a glimpse of the post-apocalyptic genre in the early and mid seventies. Nolan and George Clayton Johnson and then adapted to film and a TV series in the late seventies. Now a movie remake is in the making for a 2010 release. Broadcast back in 1975 this made for TV children’s series by the BBC follows a young girl who is lost from her family after the aftermath of “Rage Against The Machine!”. Dec 14, 2009 This week I’ll look at the DVD release of ‘Carriers’ a film about a group of young adults fleeing from the post pandemic that has nearly wiped out humanity. The group are heading to an isolated beach which they believe they can find shelter and security from the deadly virus and from other survivors.
