I've been a fan of the post-apocalyptic genre for as long as I can remember. Shows like Logan's Run, Ark II and Thundarr the Barbarian started me down the road. Movies like The Day After and Threads kept me going. And books like Alas, Babylon, Earth Abides and The Stand sealed the deal.
I still try to keep up with new releases in the genre, but a good old-fashioned plague or nuclear apocalypse is still my favorite.

The picture may be hilarious but I know I would feel guilty if I laugh at it – considering the number of victims that this particular accident resulted to. I'm just glad you still find something humorous about the accident.
